If interested, please contact Lindsey Sayers at lsayers@emschools.org

Over 60 new teachers participated in a Mid Year Check In Day this week through Green Hills' Mentoring and Induction program, The Right Track. Teachers in Year 1 or 2 of their careers had time to network with other teachers in their discipline area, reflect on their current practices and learn from one another. Time was spent diving into topics that included: Effective Instructional Strategies, Organizational Tools, Classroom Management, Creating a Culture of Community and Self-Care. They also learned all about the Iowa Authentic Learning Network and The Clearinghouse from AEA Learning Online consultant, Laura Williams. If your district does not currently have a Mentoring and Induction program in place and you are interested in learning more about The Right Track, please contact Michelle Catterson for more information.

Need Subs? Encourage eligible candidates to sign up for the next Substitute Authorization Course taking place from January 27-29th at the Halverson Center in Council Bluffs. Registration is available through the Statewide Registration System or through the Green Hills professional learning online catalog.
