Iowa STEM Teacher Award Nominations Open!

Iowa teachers are working hard to give students a great education. This year is a great time to recognize the outstanding educators who make sure our students are prepared for the future.

For the last seven years, the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council and Kemin industries have recognized awesome STEM teachers across the state with the Iowa STEM Teacher Award. During the award cycle, teachers are nominated by fellow educators, administrators, students, parents, and community members. Then, nominated teachers apply and one teacher in each of the six STEM regions is selected. Each recipient receives $1,500 for their classroom and $1,500 for themselves.

Right now, the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council and Kemin Industries are accepting nominations for the seventh annual Iowa STEM Teacher Award.

Know an outstanding STEM educator? Nominate them today. If selected as a recipient, they could receive $1,500 for their classroom and $1,500 for themselves. This is a great way to recognize how educators work to make sure our Iowa kids are ready for the future.

Nominating is free and only takes a small amount of time. Submit your nomination HERE!
